Mission Enterprises was started
in 2005 by Ps. Adrian Webster. Having become
frustrated by the fact that the work of God was languishing
in the Republic of South Africa due to a lack of affordable
sharing resources, Ps. Webster decided to begin a resource
development, production, and distribution ministry to
support the spreading of the Three Angels' Messages found in
Revelation 14 as understood and taught by the
worldwide Seventh-day
Adventist Church.
Initially this ministry began by
recording live broadcasts off the satellite, reproducing
these, and sharing them with church members who wanted
gospel materials to place in the hands of interested friends,
family, and strangers.
However, Mission Enterprises has
grown rapidly over a very short time with the Lord's
blessing. Mission Enterprises has now established
formal agreements and working relationships with a number of
overseas ministries involved in the production of multimedia
resources. Such organisations include
Modern
Manna and
Sonlight Unlimited. Currently negotiations are
underway to further expand the variety of locally reproduced
DVD content obtained from overseas speakers and ministries.
The long term goal of Mission
Enterprises is to develop locally produced materials
featuring local speakers in languages relevant to a South
African market.
Due to the fact that computer
technology such as laptops and projectors have become almost
indispensable to the work of ministry, Mission Enterprises
has undertaken to source and supply such equipment at very
modest cost to the end-user.
One of the
Southern Africa
Indian Ocean Division's
five initiatives is Paul's
Method. This initiative focuses on the training and
equipping of church members for the spread of the gospel
message. By attempting to supply faith-based resources
as well as modestly priced quality equipment for the gospel
ministry, Mission
Enterprises is an active participant in this initiative.
